Wow it has been a long time since I made a journal entry. Well here is one and a small feature.

WHY? Well let me tell you. I have not had a life for the past two months...I have been working so much, days, nights weekends. Dont hate my job I love it...but now I cant do more...to tiard....so. Im going to ROME TOMORROW.

I have never been to Italy. I love Italy, always have. And tomorrow....my dream will come true.

Yes we have amazing volcano activitiy here in Iceland. I have driven there but did not see much. I will try again tomorrow!

The volcanos name is Eyjafjallajökull.....( Eyja=island..Fjalla=mountain...Jökull=glacier) Its under a glacier!

But here you can see it on webcam....well if its not cloudy!

The volcanic eruption in Iceland is still going strong...it is a small one and has drawn many people up to see. I still have not gone to see it. But I plan to this next few days. It is about 2 hour drive from Reykjavik and then 5-6 hour walk to the site!

But my heart is beating like that now, thing are going on! I was in the newspaper here in Iceland yesterday. I have a big, BIG show 20th of august where I will have 15 of my pictures printed on a canvas 100x100 cm size. (Ill put pictures somewhere to show you). I will be on TV becasue of that. And on last friday a Design store opend here in Reykjavik and they are selling my pictures. So Im a busy girl! And a happy one as well.

Hello dear friends

Just to let you all know Im still here.....Just very busy girl living in Iceland.

Good news.... I was in a magazine here in Iceland last month five page interview......wow how surprised I was to see five pages of me. I tought it would be one or two pages. Ill put the article in scraps tomorrow if you like to see. (it is in Icelandtic...but you can see it anyway )

And then I was on TV.....That was so strange...a tv-crew came to my house for a visit. I was interviewed and asked about my home and about me and about my pictures. Here is the link.

The interview starts on minute 11.33. It is in Icelandtic but I thought you all maby would like to see me for real and my home and many of you amazing stockartist that I have had the luck to work with!!

After all this I have been more busy than I could imegen and Im working on a HUGE campaign with one of the biggest ad-agencys here in Iceland. Soon the ads will be published and I will defenetly upload the work here on DA!!

The world is changing. Hard times ahead. Time to take better care of each other. Hug our family and friends and be strong.

We sure feel it here in Iceland. Past weeks have been hard. Hearing bad things about my beautiful country that Im so proud of. Im so proud to be icelantic, but now it seems few people that were so greedy have almost destroyed all the work we have done building this good reputation we have.

If you dont understand what Im talking about it is this financial crisis that is now coming up all over the world.

But life goes on and I hope soon all will be fixed and then we have a white page to draw a new and better picture.

First off.....Today The Icelandic National Handball team is throught to the final in the Olympics in Beijing. The final is on Sunday.

The Icelandtic nation is so proud and happy.....everybody was watching them today winning Spain 36-30 and now we have the chance to win our first GOLD.....EVER!!!

Ohhh wow I cant belive it...Im now on summervacation for a whole mounth!! I went to day shopping for stuff to go traveling the country of Iceland....something I have not done to much of. I bought a tent, sleeping bags, grill, pots and thing to have me food in . Oh and alot of beer!! IM going to take my camera with me and try to get some great pictures of my amazing country that I will share with you.

Im still thinking if I should take my computer with me..since it is almost stuck on me....The thought of myself in a tent with my computer makes me laugh out loud..so maby not!!

Well first is first tonight it is a night on the town with my best friends, drinking cocktails and dancing the night away...I cant wait!!

Just to tell you all that Im here and not far away.

Im very busy at work, been working on a big ad that is a mood as for one of the radio stations here in Iceland!! All was taped in green screens so we are making it look good now with graphics. It is coming out well but not as I saw it in my head...but well...when many work on one thing it is going to change something!

Im working on few ideas in my art but Im blocked....very frustrating...but hopefully soon
